Our listening party was a phenomenal success thanks to Dave, Kristine & Melissa of Late Bar, Katrine & her rollergirl waitresses, DJ Kenny Kicks & DJ Gary for sharing their glam night with us, August & Frankie at NoVo Arts, and ALL of our wonderful fans and friends who came out, drank bamboo shots and danced the night away with us. Being a Maybenaut kicks ASS these days!

We'll be playing the record and a few of our favourite new songs, signing CDs, and making a general mess of ourselves at Chicago's COOLEST record store. This ain't Best Buy. This is a REAL record store. If you haven't been there yet, now is the time to check it out: 4639 N Lincoln Avenue in Chicago, IL. The show's all ages, so bring the (respectful & well-behaved) kids! THE MAYBENAUTS ARE PLAYING SUMMERFEST!
On Saturday, July 3rd, The Maybenauts will panda-ize Milwaukee's ginormous music festival. We are all secretly very excited to be playing on the same day as Rush. Okay, not so secret. We're freaking ecstatic. And our show will be good, too! More details to follow. :)

Saturday
Played one of our bestest, funnest, awesomest (and other words that don't existest) shows yet at Quenchers with my old band, Haywood Yards. It was SO much fun! We even worked in a cover of Shut Up Woman Get On My Horse.

Monday
Played a noon-time set at University of Chicago - we even got some really cool fan art that I will post here as soon as I can scan it!
THEN, we did an interview with John Rose at UIC Radio. We love John Rose!!
THEN, we had a meeting at NoVo to discuss marketing and plotting our fabulous CD release! More details to come... :)

Shows this month!

This Saturday, January 9th we'll be playing at Cafe Wha Who! Show is at 10:00PM. Cafe Wha Who is a cool place in the downtownish area of Chicago - it's a liquor-infused coffee shop with a lofted art gallery upstairs! (We'll be playing up there!)

Later this month, on January 28th will be a BIG show and our return to the beautiful Lincoln Hall! This will also be your first opportunity to pre-buy our upcoming EP - complete with a code for an advance download of the MP3 version - you can be one of the very first to hear it!
