Maybenauts Take Over the Airwaves!

Welcome to The Maybenauts' official blog! I'm Ellie Maybe, bassist for The Maybenauts. As I watch the Inaugural Parade on television I sit here trying to summon the narcissism necessary to write an introduction to our band on a day as important as this. I think I can do it.

As our fans know, we have recently undergone a band-wide makeover. We have changed our line-up (adding the loverly Emily Agustin on drums), changed our name, and are in the process of of solidifying our new sound. Along with these changes comes a blank slate in the world of social applications, so if you're a longtime friend or fan of The Maybenauts, Ellie Maybe, or this band in any incarnation, please take a second and add us as a friend on MySpace or become a fan on Facebook.

Outside of rebuilding our web presence with a new identity, we are hard at work writing new songs for your giggling and rocking pleasure. Catch a few of these new tunes on Friday, January 30th @ Martyrs'.
