Holy Crap, That Was Awesome.
The Maybenauts are all busy recuperating from the most unbelievable weekend ever. We kicked off our Easter/Passover celebration early with a show in Chicago at Quenchers on April 9, and then hit the road to visit our northern neighbors with a show in Madison at Inferno on the 10th. The show was a blast, with Madison locals The Type. Shhhhh... There have been talks of a split 7" with The Maybenauts and the Type!!
After our wonderful show we settled in with our hosts, Travis Kasperbauer and Jane Wiedlin, and went to task tracking five glorious tunes. Travis worked his magic at the control board while Jane helped produce some unbelievable vocals.
We hope to have some rough mixes in the next week and start working on finalizing the recordings and some cover art... When will the new EP be available??? Oh, soon, little children, soon...

Ready, set... GO!
It's booked! In April we will be heading to the lovely town of Madison, Wisconsin to record with the awesome production team of Travis Kasperbauer and Jane Wiedlin. We'll be laying down some of the new songs you've been hearing at shows for the past few months, in preparation for the release of our debut EP as The Maybenauts. We'll also be playing a show while we're out there - we'll keep you posted on the details.
Until then, we just announced a handful of new shows that are coming up (including a visit to our neighbors in Indiana). Check 'em out and check us out! We promise you a good time, baby. ;)
